As part of my work on Greenpeace’s campaign against KFC I produced a range of written content, from emails to social media posts. I also wrote a number of blogs, which were used by the other four national offices involved.

I was also one of the founding writers for the Environmental Transport Association. I wrote on a number of sustainable transport issues, including tar sands, green travel apps, and whether cycling can ruin your sex life.

I’m also editor of an online magazine about ethical fashion and employ a team of contributors. We cover a range of topics, from jewellery made from bombs, to sweatshops in Bangladesh. I have also contributed to Anti-Slavery International’s magazine, writing about human rights in the fashion industry.

I have also contributed to the British Association for Adoption and Fostering’s blog. I ghost wrote personal testimonies of adopters and foster carers as a way to inspire others to foster or adopt.

 

Video content

I produced and directed a short film for Shelter, as part of their Rogue landlords campaign. The film was viewed 40,000 times, smashing the target of 25,000. In addition, 72% of people watched to the end and 4000 went on to take action. Most importantly 29 local authorities signed up to the campaign to tackle rogue landlords in their area.

As part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad I was commissioned to produce and direct a series of short films about the community arts events taking place in the Olympic borough of Waltham Forest. This included the Olympic Torch Relay and Godiva Awakes.

The Ethical Fashion Forum wanted a short promo for their upcoming Source Summit event. I produced, directed and edited this for them, and it was distributed via social media and email.

Web producing

I am experienced with a range of CMS, including Drupal and WordPress. I also have a basic understanding of HTML.

I have helped build a number of web pages, including for ActionAid. As part of the West Africa Food Crisis appeal I put together their main appeals page, including a slideshow and case studies. I also helped to create their Fundraise At Work page.
